Windows Restoration & Reopening for Spring

As we emerge from under the melting snow, Gihon Valley Hall is opening back up for the 2022 season! Our first event will be on Green Up Day, May 7th, when we'll be the bag pick up station for the neighborhood. We'll also have our famous pie sale, a seed swap (with free seeds generously donated by High Mowing Seeds), building tours and a village history walk. More details on our Facebook page.

If you pass by, you may notice that our building is missing a few of its windows. This is because work has officially begun on the restoration of the original windows to keep our historic building looking true to its c.1910 style while maintaining the integrity and utility of the building for our community. Thanks goes out to the Preservation Trust of Vermont and the Nation Park Service for making the restoration work possible!
