With our annual Green Up Day celebration and pie sale, the 2024 season at Gihon Valley Hall has commenced. Thank you to everyone who dropped by, greened-up the neighborhood, and bought pies -- we sold every last one!

Gihon Valley Hall May Events

Stop the Bleed Training 5/18/24:

The Gihon Valley Hall Committee is hosting a FREE Stop the Bleed Training on Saturday May 18 from 3pm-4pm. Dale Porter RN and Valerie Valcour RN will be your instructors. In honor of National STOP THE BLEED® Day, come learn the basics of how to stop bleeding injuries because everyone can learn how to Stop the Bleed. Community Old-Time Music Jam 5/15/24:

The Gihon Valley Hall begins another year of old-time music starting with a Community Old Time (and maybe some New) Music Jams. These Jam sessions will be held every third Wednesday, starting May 15, 2024, at the Gihon Valley Hall from 7pm to 9pm. Valerie Valcour will be your host.

Bring your fiddles, harmonicas, banjos, ukes, mandolins, or upright bass, music stands if you have one, or just your voice and ears. We’ll join together in traditional folk, country, bluegrass, gospel and other related and inspired songs.

You are encouraged to bring copies of your favorites and lead a song or two, or just join in or come to listen. All are welcome. No previous experience required, and this is a free event. Donations to the hall are aways welcome.

Parking for all events is available at the Gihon Millworks parking lot.
