During October the Gihon Valley Hall committee rebooted our effort to upgrade our stage with a new set of versatile lights which will be funded in large part by a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation. Gear has been ordered, and by next year we'll be ready to host music, dance, and other live performances on our stage.

The hall has also welcomed The Lamoille River Dancers, a group that offers square dance classes and open country dances for all ages and skill levels. They will continue throughout November until we need to close up the building for the deeper cold of winter. Thankfully our new heat pumps allow us a little extra time to hold events at the hall this season.
